We held off a Special Day Trip, changed our route & schedule to included a stop in Rio Grande City to see "Our Lady of Lourdes Grotto". It is a Replica of the original Shrine in France where the peasant girl had vision of Our Lady of Lourdes. So in that same direction, we had four days to discover another Texas State Park called Falcon State Park on the Rio Grande River and a Dam nearby which makes for The Falcon International Reservoir   This park was located 15 miles north of Romaine and 32 miles south of Zapata off of Highway 83.  It took us a few hours, with a few stops from Port Isabel, Texas but we made it in the sunny afternoon to enjoy the sights and sunset.  We had electric and Water hook-ups and all they cautioned us about were the Javelina's and snakes.  Surprisingly on our 2nd day, a family of 5 Javelina's crossed our campsite when Buddy was tied up outside.  Doing some research told us that Javelina's did not see well; and this was obvious because they showed no acknowledgment of Buddy.  He just stared at them as well -- but very quietly.   We enjoyed one sunset as it was cloudy/rainy the other 3 days but we did do the three mile walk around the campground and we did get a 6 mile bike ride in around the park and down the street to the County Park just to scout it out for future stays.  We enjoyed a lasagna potluck for the Winter Texans and a movie night featuring "War Horse".  We also caught glimpses of a couple of road runners passing our campsite.  It was a very nice park and we really enjoyed it .  Now it was time to head to our Habitat Build House in Alice, Texas.
