After making a repair appointment at Cummins in Ventura, we decided to spend a couple of days at Rincon Parkway on the Pacific Ocean in Ventura because the transmission repairman (our parking brake failed) would not be in for a couple of days. At this parkway, RV's could park alongside the beach and have an ocean view for $27/night. That is all you got -- parking spot and view. No electric, water or restrooms. But the view and Buddy meeting lots of dog friends and swimming in the cool waters was pretty fun. The waves were entrancing and the two days we stayed there we saw dolphins swimming in the near distance. Weather was sunny, warm (not hot) and beautiful blue skies above.
