Bonham State Park, Texas (April 21, 2011)

Bonham State Park was a  one night stop as we travel our way across northern Texas.  We were about the only ones camping in the park and we had an lake-site on this nice size man-made lake. Very nice setting in the trees with electric and water hookups.  There were ducks lingering along the swimming beach and you know who had to chase them thinking he was going to catch them.  It gave him some exercise and just the same as he dove in the water after those squawking creatures.  We wanted to stay another night which was a Friday; but to our amazement, the whole park (21 sites) were reserved for the weekend.  The ranger told us that weekends stay full from March through November there.  No sites were first come first serve; you have to reserve your site ahead of time.  But after Jason found the creepy creature hanging out at the Men's Restroom, we didn't mind to move on!!!!
